Psychometrist, Career and Leadership Coach
Denise is a Career Strategist, Life and Leadership Coach, and an Enneagram Practitioner. She has extensive management experience in retail, education and the mining industry, with over a decade of coaching experience. She partners with her clients to identify possibilities where they thought there was none, and together craft solutions for those issues.
Educational Background
She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in coaching psychology from Pretoria Centre for Work-based Learning, Business and Life coaching from VIP: Leadership & Strategic Coaching Institute, Meta-NLP from METACO and ORSC Fundamentals (Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching). She also has an honours degree in industrial psychology, holds management qualification from Wits Business School, and is a Psychometrist (Independent Practice) with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Coaching Philosophy
Her coaching philosophy is to provide space for highly effective individuals to explore areas of personal transformation in the context of organizational and individual development.
Being a Psychometrist, she incorporates assessments should it be required, to create self-awareness for her coachees, and to appreciate and be mindful of the uniqueness of her clients. She believes that a lot of what hinders us from living a fulfilling life both in one’s personal capacity and in our career is our blind spots. Coaching provides a platform for self-discovery, for identifying what is inhibiting success and then develop appropriate strategies to conquer those limitations.

About Denise
Denise has always being interested in understanding what motivates people’s behaviour. This fascination led her to study psychology at university. Upon completion of her studies, she noticed how some of her colleagues at work did not believe in their ability to achieve their heart’s desires. There were self-limiting behaviours that stopped them and they were not even aware. She wanted to assist her. Through research she came across coaching, got certified and has been coaching ever since.
Previous background
Denise has extensive management experience in different industries for more than two decades before starting her own practice, and being a full-time coach. In all her management positions she was always drawn to empowering people she worked with, through training, mentoring and coaching. This was the common thread in her career. Coaching full time was the next step in her career.
