Understanding change 

When harmony and balance feel off, it creates havoc in our lives. We feel “off”, “stuck” and unhappy even though, on the outside, we may look well and sometimes even amazing. Through coaching, I learned, to recognise the signs of imbalance, of what needed to be seen, heard, felt and done to embark on the journey of balance. 

Mahatma Gandhi’s quote, “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony,” probably most accurately set the stage for me as a coach. Inevitably when thoughts, feelings, and actions are incongruent, some type of turbulence is created. As a coach, I provide the caring space for you to explore this incongruence for yourself and am the partner to walk alongside you as you experiment with your way forward. 

My experience 

I’ve spent over 25 years in healthcare in South Africa, been in senior executive positions in a boardroom, a coach for 10 years, and most importantly a mum of three boys and a wife. My experience brings empathy to what happens in the boardroom, and the living room, and to how we manage our personal well-being and health. I have explored functional and integrative medicine, deeply and my passion is holistic well-being. I have worked in several well-known corporate entities in South Africa and globally.

I work as an executive and leadership coach, health and well-being coach and am also facilitator and designer of health and wellbeing workshops

  • Medical Doctor (MBBCH) Wits
  • MBA at GIBS (University of Pretoria)
  • Certificate in Integrative Medicine at the University of Stellenbosch in 2013.
  • Diploma in Practitioner Coaching through the Coaching Centre in 2015.
  • Certificate in Mindfulness Based Interventions at the University of Stellenbosch
  • HeartMath certification
  • Fellowship in Functional Medicine (current)
