Joanne has been a transformative force in leadership and business coaching, working with individuals, groups and teams since 1996. Her experience as a coach spans a diversity of local and global clients, across all levels of the organisation, and covers most sectors, including engineering, pharmaceutical, transport, automotive, finance, NGO, fundraising, government, media, healthcare, FMCG and ICT sectors.
Joanne has a rich background as a Chartered Accountant working in various management and freelance roles in Johannesburg and London, she pivoted to psychotherapy and coaching, after retraining as a Humanistic and Integrative psychotherapist in London, driven by a passion for personal and professional development.
Joanne has combined her experience and training to coach people to get the best out of work and relationships. She runs workshops and training on Coaching Skills for Managers and Leadership Development, Diversity and Transformation, Career Management, Relationships and Conflict and Anger Management.

She has been involved with COMENSA (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa) since its inception and has also been a member of the Supervision Portfolio Committee since 2006.
She is a strong believer in the necessity for, and value of supervision for coaches in furthering the competence, sustainability and accountability of coaching in any context.
