Leaders, just like any other human being, flourish through a healthy balance of mind, body and soul. Then they produce better outcomes and can inspire others. My clients, professional and private individuals, want to feel stronger and more in their personal power, yet relaxed and flexible to deal with their ever-increasing challenges. We aim for clarity, confidence and focus. Readings, questions for self-reflection and body practices support the process in between the sessions – tailored to the client’s availability and interest.
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” Rumi
Supervision creates a safe environment for coaches to reflect on and improve their professional practice. It helps to maintain ethical standards, provides support and invites growth. It’s forward moving and outcome oriented – and makes sure the coach’s stuff doesn’t get in the way of the client’s progress.
I feel passionate about raising the bar in the world wide web of coaching practitioners: What is it about the coach that impacts on the client? What makes a good coach a great coach? How can blind spots be dissolved through a combination of rigour and empathy? I supervise external and internal coaches, in person and on Skype., in groups and one-on-one.

I have worked in communications for more than 25 years – a journey which took me from Berlin to Vienna to Cape Town. As a profile writer for an international business magazine, I interacted with leaders around the globe. In 2001, I moved to South Africa, and made my passion for people my new career. Through coaching, I now assist professional and private individuals to become happier, healthier and more productive human beings. I have studied health and nutrition for many years, and bring the latest edge of neuroscience to my work. I’m a mother of four amazing children, and a regular practitioner of yoga and meditation.
Trained as an Integral Coach©, my approach also draws from the Enneagram, Thinking Environment (Nancy Kline), Transactional Analysis and Leadership Embodiment (Wendy Palmer). I coach in English and in German – in person and online. I’m a Fulbright scholar and hold a PhD in communications science. I certified as an Integral Coach© (PCC) through the Centre for Coaching at the UCT Graduate School of Business. I’m credentialed with ICF at PCC level. As a coach supervisor, I have a diploma from the ICF accredited UK Coaching Development. I’m a coach educator for SACAP (South African Institute for Applied Psychology). Plus, as a certified Time To Think facilitator, I work as a virtual trainer with small and large groups – most recently as the only South African coach for the United Nations leadership programme Supervising for Zero Hunger.

Antje has given me ‘tools’ how to deal with pressure both at work and at home, which if not pro-actively managed, can lead to resentment. I have learnt to be more in tune with myself and others through slowing down. Antje has opened my eyes to my self-worth, which has empowered me to approach challenges in a more conscious way.”
Christina Costa, Product Development Manager, Woolworths, Cape Town
The program helped in providing me with simple and yet essential tools to apply daily in my interactions with people and colleagues. I have a better and deeper understanding of myself. I also understand the dynamics of my environment and those around me, and how to manage the interaction between these and focus on the bigger picture. Importantly, the value of respecting others, while I still remain authentic and speak my truth.”
Fiona Gumede, General Manager – Legal and Company Secretariat, Engen, Cape Town
As a result of our work together and Antje’s interventions, I have been able to take my professional and personal life to greater heights. The concept of transformational coaching which Antje embodies, has been crucial to me in finding the work-home-self balance, which I now fully embrace as an everyday aspect of my life. I have also found it significant that the progress I have made – particularly in my work space – happened within a very short time frame, which I attribute to the way in which Antje coaches.”
Christina Pather, Deputy Director Research Office, University of Cape Town
Loving the experiential Time To Think workshop – I so appreciate the calm internal space Antje opens up, which gives me the freedom to access what I think. And feel. And learn invaluable process methodology at the same time.”
