Simon is passionate about helping and assisting clients on a partnership basis. He has a strong belief in the value individuals can add to organisations and teams, and enjoys engaging individuals to help them grow and develop. He combines his experience and knowledge of Industrial/Organisational Psychology with various Coaching models to deliver an integrated coaching service.
Simon is an Occupational and Organistational Psychologist registered with the HPC-UK and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS). He has also been registered as a Psychometrist with the HPCSA since 1992. He is an Associate member of the Society for Industrial/ Organisational Psychology of South Africa (SIOPSA) and a member of the Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA). He attends events hosted by the South African Organisational Development Network (SAODN), He has a Graduate Diploma in Coaching from the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP). Simon has over 15 years’ experience in HR consulting roles.
Simon worked for a niche HR Consultancy for eight years. Initially working as a Project Manager in Research and Development on various psychometric projects both on internal products and those tailored for clients. He then became a Principal Consultant and during this time managed and delivered assessment and development projects for international companies in the oil and gas, financial and service industries. Working with multi-disciplinary teams, he delivered on projects in the UK, Malaysia, Dubai, Sudan, India, South Africa and Hong Kong.
Prior to this he worked for SHL UK Ltd within Psychometric Research and Development for over 3 years, undertaking a variety of assessment validation studies for clients as well as the design and development of various psychometric instruments. This included writing expert report systems for OPQ32 and refining Career Pathfinder ready for market.
He is an Associate member of the Society for Industrial/ Organisational Psychology of South Africa (SIOPSA) and used to be a committee member of Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA), He has a Graduate Diploma in Coaching from the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP). Simon has over 15 years’ experience in HR consulting roles.
Simon is currently an Associate Consultant for Top Talent Solutions (TTS), an independent consultancy using a variety of assessment, selection and measurement instruments, and is licensed to train clients in various assessment products.
