The world needs love, so much love. And, I believe, specifically self-love. As we all learn to love ourselves a bit more, really, truly, deeply, unconditionally, there is more and more love to go around, both for ourselves and everyone else.
Through my own process of going from hating myself to truly loving myself (and healing myself from chronic physical and mental illness as a result), I have come to understand that real, lasting self-love is made up of three things (essentially):
- Self-awareness (physical and emotional)
- Autonomic nervous system healing
- Changing limiting negative beliefs about yourself at a subconscious level
I use a combination of modalities in my work as a self-love coach to support my clients in achieving these things through mind-body-spirit healing and growth. The main modalities I use are TRE® (Tension, Stress, and Trauma Release Exercises), QEC (Quantum Energy Coaching), and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). I also incorporate aspects of Gestalt counselling and life coaching as needed, and am able to facilitate InnerDance sessions if wished.
These are some of the signs that you may need a bit (or a lot) more self-love in your life:
• Trauma, past negative experiences
• Feelings of guilt and/or shame
• Feeling that you are not good enough and/or unworthy
• Road rage and general feelings of anger
• Difficulty with making decisions
• Feeling stuck in any area of your life
• Stress, worry
• Anxiety, depression
• Frequent/chronic illness
• A sense that something is missing from your life
• Low self-confidence
• Negative self-talk
• Difficult relationships
Self-love coaching gives you the opportunity to discover the amazing strength, beauty and power that I know is inside you. My goal for every client is radical self-love, going deeper than the surface-level affirmations to address the internalised messages and damaging underlying beliefs about themselves. I am not there to give you answers or advice, but I can give you guidance and techniques that you can then use to discover your truth and empower yourself.
Self-love coaching sessions generally take place in person (although they can also be done over Skype/Zoom/Whatsapp calling), and are up to 90 minutes long.
