Aviva Baran-Rothschild; a British-South African mom and business owner! I am curious, open, authentic, warm and creative and know when to call a spade a spade! I use an eclectic and holistic approach to assist clients to grow like trees- “Reaching great heights, with great depth.”
The purpose of my coaching is to facilitate change at a sustainable and meaningful level and to close gaps between a clients’ current and desired reality, leveraging their inner wisdom and strengths and working through blind-spots.
Through the process of asking powerful questions; my clients reach clarity and set meaningful personal and professional goals. I support and stretch clients out of their comfort zones; in order to change behavioural patterns that are not supporting their vision. During this journey, I offer feedback and hold them accountable to attain the success that they are looking for.
I have qualified with two internationally recognised coach training courses; The Co-Active Coach Training Institute and Henley Business School, as well as with an ICF accredited Coach Supervision Course.(Coaching Development- UK) I have also undertaken a Job-Search Skills Coach Training and offer career consultancy for Crown Worldwide Group. . I have achieved my Professional Certification in Coaching through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and am also a member of The Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (Comensa). I am a member of the International Coaching Federation.
I have a Masters in Coaching and Behavioural Change studies at Henley Business School, my thesis researched ‘work-life (im)balance’ for full-time working mothers.
My career has been diverse. People Development and Workshop Facilitation have taken me across the globe for a career spanning 32 years and Coach Supervision for 10. My journey began as a therapist in the UK for 17 years and moved to coaching 18 years ago; Coaching individuals, teams and groups. I offer face to face or virtual coaching.
I also design and facilitate workshops, through integrating my expertise in Emotional Intelligence, research on Work-Life Wellbeing and Energy Optimisation I have created ‘The Struggle to Juggle’ Energy Optimisation Workshops.
Over the years, I have also been involved in many aspects of Community Development and Volunteer work in South Africa, UK, India and Israel; doing transformation work, conservation, therapy and teaching. Thus, I am culturally and professionally very adaptable; skills that allow me to develop people at all professional levels and of various multi-cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. I adjust my approach to a vast range of professionals and artisans.
I work across both the corporate, government and NGO sectors as well as a broad spectrum of life coaching clients from all walks of life.
