Lindiwe is an Executive Coach and Psychologist with 12 years experience in Executive Coaching and Leadership Development and Life Coaching. Through one-on-one coaching, team coaching and facilitation interventions Lindiwe’s pursuit to enhance personal mastery and greatness of leaders and to align their teams towards a common vision and high performance is fulfilled.
She utilises her solid background in psychological theory and practice as well as Co-Active coaching philosophy, the Systems approach, Transformational Coaching and Theory U methodologies to foster personal transformation and presence in leaders. Her belief is that deep inside every leader there is a longing for a life of greatness, for a purposeful and meaningful life, to matter, to make a difference. “We are more like acorns, each of which contains within it all the potential to be a magnificent oak tree. We need nourishment, encouragement and the light to reach toward, but the oak-tree-ness is already within us,” John Whitmore (2009).”
Her coaching approach is intentional and focused on the ‘inner game’ of the leaders, an ‘inside-out’ journey to foster profound personal transformation. It is her belief that beneath all the visible leadership challenges there are underlying paradigms of thought, behaviours and emotional patterns that create barriers to personal growth and organizational health. It is therefore not enough to create change at a symptom level as the individual or team will then re-enact the same patterns time and again. Lindiwe’s strength is coaching at a deeper level to address these underlying paradigms and connect leaders to their deepest sources of creativity and purpose.
Lindiwe always keeps the system in mind and how the leader fits within it. She is always mindful that coaching serves the parallel needs of the client and organisation. Failure to keep this in mind runs the risk of coaching colluding with the client. She views leaders as mirrors of the organisation: their presence, state of mind and how they ‘show up’ get mirrored onto those they lead. She fosters authentic and resilient leadership; leadership that is in tune, able to look deeper into self and hold self under continuous scrutiny; leadership that can make meaning and create clarity in the context of turmoil or confusion; leadership that fosters a healthy climate, optimum morale and productivity.
