I am the kind of a coach that practises an interactive style which allows the client to explore possibilities through a thought provoking manner of asking questions. I believe that clients are able to solve their own issues/problems through reflection; I provide support, a conducive environment, space and freedom to take an active role towards their own development.
Hlobisile’s experience has been in coaching individuals with a strong will to succeed in both their personal and professional lives – assisting them to develop them and to overcome self-esteem challenges and personal leadership development issues.
Her coaching experience cuts across various levels of management i.e. managers of self/specialists to managers of others and managers of managers. Hlobisile believes that leaders play a crucial role in influencing the culture of an organisation either positively or negatively. For that reason she has embarked on a drive to help leaders create a meaning of their ‘intent and their impact’ towards others. She is motivated by seeing people grow and being able to coach themselves through situations in their personal and professional lives.
Hlobisile has professionally coached extensively for 4 years at a management level. Engaged in leadership coaching for both middle and junior management levels, facilitating coaching for performance, teaching coaching skills to managers and conducting focus groups and give feedback to the leadership teams. Her assignments have taken her to the Subs Saharan region i.e. Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Malawi, and Zimbabwe.
She has facilitated a number of behavioural competence sessions amongst which were those enabling employees to deal with change and unfavourable situations, to give them support and assistance on how to deal with their situations in a positive manner.
She is a certified International Coaching Federation Coach. Through the consciousness coaching methodologies she is able to challenge, motivate and empower junior managers, middle managers, and team leaders by applying a structured and thought provoking process to help them reach their personal and professional potential. Hlobisile has coached managers and leaders in both the financial and services environments. This experience has developed her ability to connect across all organisational levels with ease. Previously, she worked as Learning and Organisational Development manager. Her earlier experience in the banking environment (for FNB and Nedbank) has also helped her to establish a foundation in the financial industry.
She is a registered member of Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA), certified coach of International Coaching Federation (ICF), to be registered with GSACE Graduate School Alliance for Executive Coaching as soon the Masters in Leadership Coaching studies with the University of Johannesburg is completed.
