Jeremy, with roots in Cape Town’s historical District Six community, has been a Research Associate at Stellenbosch University’s Faculty of Theology since 2013. He specialises in helping clients to understand, realise, unlock, utilise and maximise their potential. Through this personalised coaching process, individuals can discover a greater sense of purpose and meaning in life. His motto in life is “Dreampossible!”
He draws from experiential learning and focuses on the client’s life-themes such as personal development, awareness, leadership, self-management, confidence and self-esteem. Other broader themes such as vision, mission and philosophy are also used as pragmatic tools for organisations and budding entrepreneurs.
Jeremy has rich experiences in many fields such as being an author of academic theological articles, lecturer, youth and young adults pastor, professional footballer, provincial youth football coach, founder of a community development organisation, tax clerk at the Receiver of Revenue, the provincial manager for a schools-based non-profit company, and an entrepreneur. He has also project-managed seven sports-cultural “Dreampossible” tours for youth from their non-profit organisation, Life Zone, to Sweden between 2009 and 2019, taking ten teams [girls and boys] in total. At least one of these touring players is currently playing professional football in Sweden, and HIS dream has been made possible.
For Jeremy, continuous life-long learning, an enquiring mind, and serving others is essential.
He is married and they have two children aged 20 and 15 years-old.
