David Lorge is a young and vibrant coach. After the death of his father at the age of eleven he suffered with tremendous anxiety, depression and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy was the only thing that helped him overcome this.
He studied Psychology At the University of South Africa and completed his honours at the end of 2013. David has worked as a mentor and cognitive facilitator at King David Sandton for the past three years.
David opted to go into coaching and not mainstream psychology as there is less of a stigma attached to coaching and children feel far more comfortable going to a coach. David is passionate about helping children as he understands and empathises with the struggles that modern day society imposes on our children.

The solution is Cognitive Behavioural Coaching.
What is Cognitive Behavioural Coaching?
It is a life coaching discipline based on the principle that to support healthy behaviour, one must first modify their thoughts.
I will identify, examine and change unhealthy thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. I then strive to amend thinking in ways that are more realistic, positive and workably effective. Coaching offers a solution focused approach based on resolving here and now issues and offering an action plan for the future.
