I am the founder and owner of Potential Unlimited Organization and have over 25 years’ experience in business and coaching locally and internationally. I am a qualified Executive and Business Coach PCC (ICF), with over 2 500 coaching hours at Board, Executive, senior and middle-management levels across a variety of industries. I am also a Facilitator of Neuroscience, Leadership Development, Resilience, Personal Mastery, EQ, Mindfulness, Effective Teams, Personal Brand, Networking, Diversity and Change Management programmes in both the private and public sectors with teams and individuals. A Professional Member of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern and Africa, a qualified trauma counsellor, Integrative Enneagram practitioner and an accredited assessor.
My experience in Executive positions as General Manager and Sales Manager of an Insurance Company as well as being the Director of my training and coaching business for the past 25 years, has provided me with an understanding of the challenges that face Executives and Senior Managers in the workplace. My business insight, empathy and passion have become invaluable assets in my role as Leadership Facilitator and Executive coach. I have won awards in the Insurance and Assurance Industry, have an academic background in Education, Psychology, Counselling and Training and Coaching qualifications through STAR Leadership and Results Systems Coaching (NeuroLeadershipGroup).
I believe my role as coach is to partner with clients on a path of personal and professional development by being fully present and witnessing and reflecting back to them their way of being in the world. To partner with them in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their potential.
I lived in the US for a year where I studied the US Educational System in order to gain an understanding of (and transfer this learning to South Africa) what makes American children so confident. My work with Mindfulness-based Emotional Intelligence (having completed the US “Search Inside Yourself” programme,) enables leaders in organizations to lead with compassion in a VUCA world.
I have published a number of articles and have been a guest speaker on TV and Radio.
I am an avid runner and very proud of my over 30 marathons including a number of Comrades successes, especially after being told by renowned sports coaches, that I would never be able to run that distance. I believes running is a metaphor of life – to learn things about yourself you never knew before, to go deep and find reserves of energy and determination you didn’t know you had, and experience joy and a sense of achievement as never before.
I am happily married with three amazing sons, who keep me grounded and teach me life lessons every day.
