About My Coaching Approach

This process will help you to embark on a journey of self-awareness and self-discovery to enable you to look inward, outward and forward. This approach will assist you to gain further insight into your own life journey, purpose, potential, performance, passion, balance as well as you future growth path.

I define Coaching as a one-one process that facilitates the unleashing of untapped potential and channelling it to achieve personal and professional goals. This is only possible in a partnership with a supportive, open, firm yet flexible Coach and takes place within the boundaries of a confidential, adult-adult relationship.

On an individual level, the coaching process will include the following basic steps:

• Continue helping you to take stock of ‘who you are’ and ‘where you are now’.
• Continue helping you to determine what you would like to achieve.
• Continue helping you to develop the skills, strategies and action plans to achieve your goals.

In this process, you will further uncover:

• Obstacles in the way of a balanced life (quality of life).
• The inner resources to take stock of and to leverage.

During my 20 years of practice, I have supported many individuals to make informed choices regarding career options. I have also met so many people who were in careers that were not congruent with their talents and abilities.

This motivated me to extend my existing coaching offering to include an internationally accredited, on-line assessment, called Career Direct®, which integrates and measures personality, interests, skills as well as values to assist people to recognize their strengths and weaknesses. With my extensive background and experience as a Business Coach, I use the Career Direct® Assessment to help individuals to make informed decisions when choosing fields of study or a career path.
