Bridget is a leadership, business and life coach.  She certified as a Professional Integral Coach through the Centre for Coaching (Graduate School of Business – UCT) and is accredited by the International Coaching Federation. Bridget has over 20 years’ experience working at a strategic level in the field of organisational and people development, including managing and facilitating large scale change, leadership development, and culture transformation.

Bridget’s passion for helping others explore their true potential led her out of the corporate environment and into a full time coaching role.  She has been coaching leaders since 2008 and in more recent years, has incorporated life coaching into her portfolio of work.

Previous Background

With a background in strategic human resources and organisational development, Bridget’s focus has been on people: their behaviour, motivation, innate talents and the fears and beliefs that hold them back from reaching their full potential.  Her work has been centred around understanding and tapping into the innate capacity of each individual so that they can flourish and find meaning and joy in both their work and personal lives.

Bridget’s work in large, complex, multi-national organisations has given her valuable insights which she brings into the coaching process.  This, together with her personal experience of single parenting whilst studying and holding down a senior job has given her a deep understanding of some of the challenges faced by men and women in the corporate world, and how these challenges impact on their families.

Coaching Work

Bridget has coached business leaders and managers from both large and small organisations, as well as a variety of private clients of all ages.

Her coaching experience includes working with executives, business leaders and management teams, newly promoted managers, and individuals who want to make a change in their work or personal lives.  Bridget coaches face to face and on Skype for clients based outside of Cape Town or overseas.

Her coach training includes

  • Professional Coaching Certification – Centre for Coaching (UCT GSB) – 2014
  • Associate Coaching Certificate – Centre for Coaching (UCT GSB) – 2013
  • Coaching to Excellence – Centre for Coaching (UCT GSB) – 2012

Bridget is also a certified coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and has completed four Master Classes at the UCT Graduate School of Business.

Client Testimonials

Thank you, Bridget, for that encouragement. I am so hard on myself, that when I hear that from someone who is as calm and wise as you it gives me a warm sense of hope and strength….and makes me a bit tearful.  I so enjoy working with you: you give me SO much to think (and feel) about. I’m already limiting my old guilty, defensive, anxious internal responses to decisions. You’re right…it’s very freeing once one gets the hang of it!

Thanks again for everything – it has been such a remarkable and fascinating journey. I can’t wait to carry on harnessing what you have taught me and empowered me with and utilize that in my life going forward. Even more so I look forward to meeting in a few months and updating you on everything. Mark

So much of what we chatted about has stayed with me and has impacted me more than I expected.  You certainly were an answer to a need I wasn’t fully aware of and I thank God for bringing you into my life at the right time.  You are a wise, caring and intuitive person and have a God given gift to coach.

Thanks so much for all your help, practical advice and encouragement.  This has been the most amazing journey of my life.

I have looked forward to my time spent with you and understood the impact and importance of enjoying the moment and not thinking of what else I could or should be doing.  Live more in the moment and enjoy it.  Have faith that things will work out.  I have enjoyed your book recommendations.  I would highly recommend the programme to friends and family.
