I am in possession of an MA (Guidance and Counselling) from Durham University UK, I am a qualified Gestalt Practitioner in Organisation and Systems Development under the auspices of International Gestalt Center Organisation and Systems Development Cleveland USA, I have qualified as a Mentor and Coach under Clutterbuck Associates UK, I am an Investors in People Practitioner and Trainer. I am currently training in the US to teach Enneagram and participating in a closed Process Work Group. I am a member of COMENSA.

I am passionate about the development of people and I believe that human beings are not utilizing even a quarter of their potential and capabilities. My passion lies in assisting and challenging others to be aware of their blind spots and limiting behaviours in order for their optimum potential to be unleashed and realised. According to Freud only a third of our wisdom is in our consciousness, a whole two thirds of our wisdom is embedded in our unconscious mind. This is what Freud refers to as The Tip of the Iceberg.

In my approach in ensuring that people realize their utmost potential I assist people to lower the water-level mark so that more of the wisdom is transferred from the unconscious to the conscious levels. This is done utilizing the model that is indicated below:

In the above model I work with individuals and groups to challenge them to move from being unconscious to becoming conscious, I assist them to make big shifts from being incompetent to become competent. The bottom left quadrant Unconscious Incompetence challenges the individuals and groups to be aware of what is unknown to them that requires their attention. This awareness of the unknown then moves the individuals and groups to be conscious of what they are incompetent in, thus they become Consciously Incompetent. When they are in this quadrant they now know what they do not know and this compels them to seek knowledge, information and to build capacity where required. The next move is to the top right quadrant Conscious Competence. In this quadrant the people have attended to the identified areas of development but have to be focused on continuous development. The bottom right quadrant, that is, Unconscious Competence is when people have mastered learning and development and the new learning becomes second nature. The important consideration in this quadrant is to be aware of context and external environment because if there is a change in the environment the unconscious competence stops to serve the individual. When this takes place the individuals revert to being consciously incompetent. Consciousness Coaching is an advanced method of coaching that creates shifts in consciousness such that one is enabled to influence providence and create a self-designed destiny. It is able to access consciousness, i.e. the context in which we hold our thinking and feeling and creates lasting, powerful changes in an incredibly short amount of time. In my coaching I use Gestalt Approach and I coach using the Enneagram.

The individual approach helps the individuals in the following areas:

• Developing self-awareness
• Deconstructing maladaptive behaviour and attitudes
• Reconstructing behaviours and attitudes in a way that facilitates flexibility in responding
