Cecilia Khuzwayo is an executive coach and serves as an independent consultant to Korn Ferry’s Leadership Development Solutions Group.

Cecilia was also a Senior Client Partner at Leaders Unlimited based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her career includes ten years experience with Unilever finishing as a senior brand manger, several years with Tongaat Hullett Group as Human Resources Development Manager and three years wit the SABC as their Human Resources Executive Director.

After the Group Chief Executive was removed, the Board appointed her to be the Acting Group CEO for the SABC, a position she managed with great tenacity until a permanent CEO was found. She held this assignment for nine months.

During Cecilia’s tenure as acting Group Chief Executive Officer at the SABC, she implemented the turnaround for the corporation from a R10 million loss to R3million profit. One of her major accolades was being awarded a title ‘Media Woman of the Year’ by the Saturday Star; this was in recognition of the improvements effected in liaising with all stakeholders and changing the image of the corporation to an accessible resource for the media community. Cecilia has been running her own consulting company working mainly in the public sector in Human Resources and Programme Management, Coaching and Mentoring.

Cecilia has served in various organizations at board level, and is Chairperson of National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA). She also serves as a trustee in Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF).

Cecilia received her Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Economics. She is currently pursuing her Master Coach studies with I-Coach Academy (Middlesex University).
