- Working in Line Managerial positions in both food and textile in retailing Woolworths.
- Followed by human resources general managerial and executive committee positions in the Tyre-, Textile- and Clothing Manufacturing Industries 1989 to 2008:
- Developed a performance management system, leadership development process and career path system in conjunction with Third Foundation (Bios International).
- Lead consultative team to negotiate with NUMSA (union) on equity and skills development matters.
- Supported the setting up of a new plant.
- Project managed major restructuring process including negotiations with SACTWU (union).
- Project managed the set up of a new payroll and time and attendance system.

- Organisation transformation process at Pep Clothing changing from a traditional hierarchical organisation to an empowered team based culture in line with world-class best practice pertaining to manufacturing.
- The development and implementation of a Leadership Coaching Model for improved leadership performance for approximately 150 leaders from Executive to First Line Management Levels. Coordinating a group of individual coaches to support various levels of leaders depending on the key requirements per leadership level.
